Dear Friends:

Promises Made, Promises Kept: We have much to be proud of. Those that love Freedom and Respect the Rule of Law stand with us.

I was able to thank so many of you who came out last night to wait for the election results with me, but I know that many more of you were unable to join us, so I wanted to thank you personally for your hard work and dedication to the cause of liberty.

The results of last night were not as we had hoped they would be, but as many attendees noted, the results themselves were largely the result of a unique set of circumstances that came together at the same moment to create a result that is not likely to be recreated again in our lifetime. “The Perfect Storm” as one person put it, with the most radical liberal groups in America being joined by Republicans from our own local communities to join against their common enemy. And why? Because we insist on the rule of law, we want to limit the size and power of the government, and we treasure our God-given rights and freedoms and we are willing to defend them. That is a threat to their agenda and it mirrors the struggles going on all over this great country.

As another supporter said, “That’s why you don’t let Democrats vote in Republican primaries!”

Putting the politics aside, LuAnne and I would like to say thank you for your prayers, your support, your kind words, and your contributions of time and treasure to the effort. We think of you as our own family and we want you to know that we are as devoted to you as you have been to us. This was a single step in a long journey and it is not the last step by any measure. But we are always humbled and never take for granted what a blessing it is to have so many of you along with us on this journey.

The holidays are approaching, and we will all be blessed with the opportunities to spend time with friends and family. Let us all use this special time to rest, recharge, and–oh, why not–reload!

Before you know it, it will be 2012 and time to save our state and country all over again. For my part I am looking forward to it. It is the most important battle of our lifetimes and looking back, we’ve always done very well in elections that occurred in even-numbered years!

Just today I was contacted by Kris Kobach the Kansas State, Secretary of State to Speak along side of him in D.C. on states rights and Arizona’s success, I was also contacted today by Tennessee Legislators to be their Key Note speaker at their Lincoln Day dinner this spring on Freedom and Arizona’s success. I will continue to do all I can. I am so blessed to have served this Mesa , this great state and this nation.

With my eternal gratitude, your friend and loyal servant,

Russell

MESA, AZ – Senator Russell Pearce made the following statement to local media today:

“I call upon my supporters and those supporting my opponent to bring the rhetoric and personal attacks to an end. In recent days, personal attacks against me and my opponent have reached a fevered pitch. This is a disservice to the voters in District 18. Out of respect for them, I ask that in the closing days of this campaign that both sides focus on the issues.”

Senate President: “Let’s put an end to the myth about tourist boycotts”

(Phoenix, State Capitol)—Newly-released tourism figures and the choice of Arizona to host the 2015 Super Bowl is fresh evidence that Arizona is not seeing a downturn due to the state’s tough stand on illegal immigration.

National Football League owners voted recently to bring Super Bowl XLIX to University of Phoenix Stadium in 2015. The Super Bowl brings hundreds of million of dollars to our state’s economy.

“The benefits of the Super Bowl will be felt throughout the Phoenix area and the state,” says Senate President Russell Pearce. “We showed the world in 2008 we could host the big game here, and this vote was a strong endorsement of Arizona.”

“Critics of SB 1070 were shaking in fear that our tough stance on illegal immigration would cause visitors to turn their backs on our great state. Do you really think the NFL would award another Super Bowl to Arizona if this was the case? Let’s put an end to the myth about tourist boycotts. Look at the new numbers on tourism”, says President Pearce.

A report from Dean Runyan Associates shows travel spending in Arizona is up 7.9% from 2009. Gross sales at state hotels are up more than 12% from last year. Figures from Smith Travel Research show hotel occupancy in Scottsdale is up 4% from last year, and revenue per available hotel room up 8.6%.

Contact:

Holly Reycraft (602) 703-6500

East Valley Autism Network (EVAN) Endorses Senator Russell Pearce in Recall Election

Mesa, AZ – November 1, 2011 – The East Valley Autism Network (EVAN) has endorsed Senate President Russell Pearce in his Recall Election.

President Pearce has helped to raise the standard of care for treatment for children with autism. When we have needed him, every time, he has been there for us.

Our organization may not agree on every issue with Senator Pearce but he is a straight shooter and motivated by doing what he believes is in the best interest of the state. His sincerity, character, and willingness to go out of his way to help families struggling to meet the challenges of raising children with autism, made our endorsement an easy decision.

One in 110 children born today are diagnosed with autism. Autism effects 1 in 70 boys. Autism is a complex developmental brain disorder that is otherwise referred to as Autism Spectrum Disorders. It is more common than childhood cancer, juvenile diabetes and pediatric AIDS combined.

EVAN is a parent-led support group providing hope, resources, information and support for families with children on the autism spectrum. There is never a charge to attend EVAN meetings.

October 11, 2011

Endorsement for Senator Russell Pearce

The main mission of the Thomas Jefferson Center for Constitutional Studies is to do all that can be done to restore the Constitution to its original form and intent. To do this requires an effective educational program to teach the Constitution from the viewpoint of the Founding Fathers, to create an effective national movement to achieve these goals, and to select good, wise, and honest people to serve in all levels of government.

We believe that “good” refers to a person that is living Biblical Morality so his or her sacred oath of office will have true meaning. To be wise means to have an understanding of the Constitution from the viewpoint of the Framers, and to be honest, elected representatives must be willing to put the position of the Founders first in their legislation.

Over the last few years we have been watching the valiant efforts of State Senator Russell Pearce to represent Arizona in healing the great state of Arizona. Our interviews with him have found him to be solid in his Constitutional approach even though it hasn’t always been easy or popular. A number of other states are watching Arizona to see a model they can follow to get government back under control and out of the lives of their citizens.

We encourage all citizens of Arizona to look carefully at what Senator Pearce has accomplished, as it pertains to Constitutional principles, and we are sure you will not only be pleased but will want to retain him as your President of the Senate.

Instead of becoming entrapped by some in the media, please constantly seek to know “why” he sponsored each piece of legislation.

We at the Thomas Jefferson Center for Constitutional Studies look forward to being able to see all the states follow in the footsteps of your Arizona Legislature.

Sincerely,

Glenn Kimber
